Derrell J. Weitman -MACON - Derrell J. Weitman, age 75, of 5836 Meadows Drive, died Friday, September 7, 2007 in a Perry hospital. Funeral services will be held 2P.M. Monday, September 10, 2007 in the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Dr. Norm Yukers will officiate. -Mr. Weitman was born in Tattnall County and attended Pine Forest Baptist Church. He was retired from Cherokee Brick and Tile and was a veteran, serving in the Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bettie Weitman and a daughter, Pamela Weitman. -Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Foster of Macon; daughter, Brittany O'Neal of Macon; stepson, Mark (Rhoda) Foster of Macon; grandchildren, Lacey Foster and Grace Foster, both of Macon; brother, Kerry (Linda) Weitman of Cordele; sister, Katie Davidson of Covington, Vonice (Bill) Smith of Macon. -The family will be at the residence and receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. -Lamar Dawson Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. -Contributions in Mr. Weitman's name may be made to the Building Fund of Pine Forest Baptist Church, 1848 Tucker Road, Macon, GA 31220. -Crest Lawn Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
