The family will receive friends Sunday evening, May 17, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Services. Mr. Weitman passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Dooly County . He was born in Tattnall County to the late Prentice Emerson and Lennie Ruth Busby Weitman.
He was a United States Marine veteran, having served in and during the Vietnam Conflict. A retired purchasing agent for Service Supply, Mr. Weitman was a member of the Baptist faith and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, two children, two sisters, and a grandson.
