Trying to place the history of my ancestors by tying together as many of my families that came to, remained, or left their heritage from the Mississipi Hills on the east, Red River on south and west and going north to about Monroe, Louisiana. The scope is family, church, and local communities and how our ancestors gave us roots to develop and what have we done with our heritage. My parents came from LaSalle parish, one off the north shores of Catahoula Lake and community of Sharp Town and one from the beginning of Little River where Dugdemonia River and Castor Creek join together near the town of Tullos. I live in south Louisiana and try to piece together every family I can when I have time. As of 2011 I had 67 thousand. I saw that five generations back with 32 ancestor runs how much the families intertwine. If I go back 7 generations I find that I share a grandparent with my wife(Solomon Morgan).
