Ralph Devon Carl, Sr. was born in Onaga, Kansas on June 25, 1921 and departed this life in Chandler, Oklahoma on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at the age of 86 years. He was a resident of Stroud, OK. and was a member of the Stroud Christian Church. He married Ethel Mae Cooper in Belton, MO on March 21, 1942. He retired as Major from the U.S. Air Force where he served in WW II
Ralph leaves his wife, sons and daughters-in-law Ralph D. II and Ellen Louise of California, Larry K and Ann W. of Tennessee, daughter Eloyce Mae and her husband Robert D. Jensen of Stroud. Also surviving are his sisters in Kansas: Mary Rowles of Wichita and Donna Lee Valberg of Onaga.
Preceding Ralph in death are his parents, Bertha and Colonel Carl, brothers Nate, Grayson & Ernie, and sister, Frances.
Services at Stroud Christian Church on Christmas Eve and burial at Stroud Cemetery, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud. Bio information partially provided by that mortuary.
