James o. Davis, a resident of Nashville, Lincoln county, died suddenly at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family home. Mr. Davis had not been well for some time, but the end came unexpectedly just after he had partaken of dinner. Mr. Davis was born at Havensville, Kansas, November 26, 1867. For the past 37 years he and his family had lived at Nashville, settling her in 1895. He was aged 65 years. Surviving Mr. Davis are the widow, one son, William Davis, of Lincoln county, and two daughters, Mrs Golda Hawn, at home and Mrs May Cochell of Albany. One sister, Mrs Dora Poague, lives at Havensville, Kansas. Mr. Davis, who was a farmer by profession, was a member of the Christian church. The funeral will be held at the graveside in Strout Cemetery at Summit at 2:30 Friday afternoon.
