Sondra (Sandy Leicht) Sedberry, age 79, was born on June 11, 1942, to Betty J. (Rosier) Leicht and Wayne Smith, and later at age 3, she was adopted by Robert L. Leicht.
Sandy attended Western High School and Kokomo High School. She graduated in 1960.
Later, she married David L. Pettit, with whom she had a son, Jeffrey Lee, who was stillborn, and two daughters, Vicki Lynn and Paige Ann, who are deceased.
In 1967, Sandy married her forever love, Ronnie D. Sedberry, in Kokomo, Indiana.
They had one son, Shane Robert Sedberry, who is deceased, and two daughters, Melissa Sue (Richard) Doucette and Julie Renee (Joseph) Ishmael. Both daughters reside in Arizona, where Ronnie and Sandy relocated following their retirement.
They shared two of Ronnie's daughters, Sonja Koonce and Michelene Williams.
In 2010, Sandy and Ronnie adopted their granddaughter, Selina, after her mother's passing.
In 1978, Sandy attended and graduated from Western College of Real Estate in Arizona after she became a successful realtor with Century 21. She primarily spent her life being a housewife and a mother to her family.
She was very fortunate to be able to stay at home with their children as they were growing up.

Sandy lived several years in Arizona with her husband, Ronnie. They celebrated 54 years of marriage in June of 2017.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years.
Sandy is also survived by a sister, Linda Kay (Dr. Michael) Boldry, of Rochester, Indiana.
A sister, Susan J. (David) Bohmer, and a brother, William Robert (Billy Bob) Leicht, are deceased.
Half-brother Robert Joseph Leicht survives.
She was blessed with 28 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
