Betty Jane Leicht, 73, 200 E. Taylor St., died at 5:17 p.m. Saturday, Nov 14, 1998, in Saint Joseph Hospital & Health Center.
Born Dec. 5, 1925 in Sturgis, Mich., she was the daughter of Jesse and
Imogene (Hawkins) Rosier. She was the wife of Robert Leicht, who died in 1973.
She was a member of Chapel Hill Christian Church. She loved studying her Bible, listening
to oldies music and shopping.
Surviving are three daughters and three sons-in-law, Sondra "Sandy" and Ron Sedberry and Susan and Rodney Richardson, all of Kokomo and Linda an Dr. Michael A. Boldry, Rochester; a son, William Robert Leicht, Kokomo; 12 grandchildren, 26 Great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Bea and Charles Burton, Pascagoula, Miss.; and a lifelong friend, Myrna Chase, Kokomo. Preceding her in death were two brothers, a sister and a granddaughter. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Chapel Hill Christian Church, Pastor Steve Allen will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association. Eller's Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel.
