William J Leverenz age 87, of Waldo died at his home Sunday. He was born in Calumet County, a son of the late Mr & Mrs John Leverenz. On Feb 12, 1896, he married Isabelle Nicholson.
Member of the Waldo Methodist Church and served as president and director of the Waldo Bank for 35 years until his retirement in 1954.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs Chester F. Whittingham of Beaver Dam; one son Howard J of Waldo; two sisters Mrs Emily Weber of Appleton, Miss Lizzie Leverenz of New Holstein; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.
Burial in Waldo Cemetery.
