She attended New Holstein grade school.
On August 8, 1953, she married Jack Bangert at SS Peter and Paul Church in Green Bay, WI.
Laura worked as a baker at Woolworths Department Store, and enjoyed volunteering at her parish as a member of the Resurrection Ladies Guild in addition to volunteering at Santa Maria Nursing Home helping the elderly play bingo.
She also enjoyed rocking and feeding babies at St. Vincent Hospital and St. Vincent Day Care.
Survivors include her loving husband Jack;
children: Pat (Steve) O'Sullivan, Elaine (Jerry) Solper, Doug Bangert, Yvonne Sopata, Donna (Randy) Boesen;
9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by her siblings: Vernon (Ruth) Thede, Roland (Kathryn) Thede, Leona Reineman, LaVerne (John) Cegielnik and Edna (Terry) Ninneman;
Jack's siblings: Ted (MaryLou), Robert, Bill (Betty), Lea (Audrey), Lois (Chuck) Gille, Bert (Jan);
as well as nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, De Pere, WI, on Sunday, January 6, from 3-6pm with a parish prayer service at 6pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, January 7, from 9:30am until 10:45am at Resurrection Parish Family, 333 Hilltop Dr, Allouez. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O.Praem officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
