Dora Beyersdoerfer, 95, a devoted Christian, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died Oct. 26, 2021, at the Hermitage in Richmond. A coal miner's daughter from Kentucky, Ms. Beyersdoerfer joins her husband of 56 years, Earl, in claiming the promise of Christ's resurrection. She was a devoted wife, mother, church member and fan of the Cincinnati Reds. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Bill Funai of Richmond; a sister, three grandchildren and a great grandson. The family welcomes visitors from 2 to 3 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Bliley's Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where funeral services will follow at 3pm. Interment will be held at 10am Monday November 1, 2021 at Westhampton Memorial Park. Donations in memorial may be made to Hospice of Central Virginia.
