Lt. Willis F Schmidt, formerly of 7220 Sangamon st., was killed in an air crash in the southwest Pacific on the third anniversary of his enlistment in the army, his fiancée, Miss Albetine B. Teninga was advised yesterday. He was a graduate of Parker high school. He is survived by his parents Otto and Florence, nee Boss, three sisters, Mariette, Mildred and Patricia, two brothers, Staff Sgt. Arthur Schmidt, U.S.A.A.F., and Donald.
