She married Guy Willis in 1927 and they had two daughters. After Mr. Willis' death, she married Carl Quinn in 1979. Upon his death, she and her daughter, Neil, bought a home in Pasadena where they lived together until her death.
She attended the Jasper Church of Christ for thirty years before moving to Pasadena where she was a member of the Walters Road Church of Christ.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, George and Maude Smith; two half brothers, three brothers, one sister, as well as her two husbands and a son-in-law, Jimmie Morton.
She was survived by daughters, Neil Morton and Billie Ruth and husband Gale Ray; grandchildren, Gayelle Needham, Blaine Morton, Kathi Barrers, DeeAnn Kopriva and Michael Ray; ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; step-son Max Quinn and wife Ann; step-son-in law Tommy Day and wife Nita; six step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren; one brother, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
