Ana Baca Orosco, a devoted Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother. She raised eight amazing children as well as her granddaughter, Melissa. She took on each role with love and honor. Not a day went by without the presence of family which she enjoyed to the fullest. Ana also had many hobbies such as; gardening, sewing, cooking, time with her beloved parrot Molly, and her weekly bingo games. She looked forward to Sunday every week to competitively play bingo with her daughters, Alice and Margaret. She never left with empty pockets. Her competitiveness made her successful in every single game. Ana's greatest joy was dancing. Many stories she passed on were about the dances she attended with her parents in Mimbres, New Mexico. Her Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins were always there to witness the joy on Anas' face when she took on the dance floor. She danced until sunrise each and every time. She had many nicknames given by family such as; Mamma Jean, Mamma, Granny, Grandma Annie, Ma, and Grandma. Everyone had a different but close-knit relationship with her. Not one person felt out of place being in her home. Everyone left well fed and with a new story to tell. Her son Johnny would make special trips all the way from Safford, Arizona just for her homemade beans and sopapillas. Her daughter Maryann and her enjoyed making different meals together, as well as enjoying Maryann make many cakes for different occasions. Ana's family feels very blessed to have had the time, love, and memories to forever cherish. She is definitely a soul that will be greatly missed for eternity.

She is survived by her children, Danny Orosco of Bayard, NM, Christobal Juan "Johnny" (Connie) Orosco of Safford, AZ, Gloria Ann (Lorenzo) Candelaria, Margaret Orosco, Mary Ann Orosco (Rafael Hidalgo) and Mary Alice (Darren) Stevenson all of Deming; 6 sisters, Dora B.
