She was a member of Graefenburg Baptist Church. She had been a clerk at Newberry's store in Shelbyville and also worked at American Air Filter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Harmon Rice; her parents, Robert Leslie and Addie Riddle Samples, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
She was survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service.
Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
