Lucille Samples Nichols, 92, of Shelbyville died Sunday, March 09, 2014 at the Masonic Home in Shelbyville.
She was a member of Shelbyville First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Nichols; sons, Carroll Gene and Harold Nichols; parents, Robert Leslie and Addie Riddle Samples; brothers, Charles "Bud" and Grover Samples; and sisters, Ann Morrow, Nora Tinsley, Carrie Baskett, Stella Cates and Dorothy Coffman.
She is survived by her sons, William "Willie" Nichols (Kathy); Jerry Nichols (Sherry), both of Shelbyville; daughter in law, Sandra Nichols, Bagdad; sister, Violett Samples Rice, Shelbyville; grandchildren, Les Nichols (Belinda), Bagdad; Dylan Nichols (Sara), Florida; Honey McBrayer, TN; Kyle Nichols (Elizabeth), Shelbyville; Clayton Nichols, Louisville; Chase Nichols, Shelbyville; great grandchildren, Lynsey Nichols, Bagdad; Jake McBrayer and Will McBrayer, both of TN and Reese Nichols of Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Baxter officiating. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
