A SONIC FUNERAL TO BE HELD ON SUNDAY:
Carswell was taken ill several weeks ago and had to give up his duties as night desk sergeant at the City Hall:
Thursday afternoon at 2:30pm. at the Eleanor Moore County Hospital accurred the death of William John Carswell, of number 325 Crawford St. night desk sergeant at the City Hall. the end came after __ sickness of about two months his condition becoming extremely serious a few days ago at which time he was taken to Eleanor Moore county hospital for treatment. it soon become evident that the end was near and relatives were hurriedly summoned to his bedside. one son Frank, being called from his commencement week activities at the University of Coloado at Boulder. He however did not arrive until last night.
the Funeral services are to be held Sunday afternoon at 2pm. from the Mason temple. the body will be in __ at the temple from 1-2:00 at which time the service will start. Mt. Olive __ of Moingona in charge The Rev. __ Frost will ___ assisted by ____ the body will then be taken to Linnwood cemetery for burial.∼NO CEMETERY LISTED, and no dates given in the WPA survey, which listed his surname as Caswell.
