Funeral services for Mrs. Violet Marguerite Barrow 87, of Delhi, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 21, 2021 in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with Bro. Ronnie Garrett and Bro. Roger Temple officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi.
Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park Cemetery south of Delhi.
Mrs. Barrow was born in Franklin Parish, LA on September 17, 1933 one of nine children born to the union of the late R. C. Jones and Clara Tibbs Jones. She is also preceded in death by her husband J R Barrow, a daughter Connie Peairou and eight siblings, Emma Dee Howington, Myrtle Hines, Ed Jones, Edna Yeager, Bob Jones, Jim Jones, Nobie Yeager and Nita Zimmerman.
Ms. Marguerite is survived by two children Becky & Willie Ray Nielsen of Delhi, LA and Johnny & Suzanne Barrow of Synder, TX; nine grandchildren Jason Nielsen and wife Tonja, Brandon Nielsen and wife Margie, Misty Hutchinson and husband Stacy, Nick Nielsen and fiance' Sam, Brooks Mooney and wife Robin, Candace Bawcum and husband Brad, Jonathan Barrow, Guthrie Nielsen and wife Tara and Tiffany Nielsen; twenty great grandchildren Courtney, Jason "Brother" and wife Dakota, Mitch, Hannah Beth, John Curtis, Sara, Jordan, Logan, Joseph, Jazpyr, Jameson, Ryan, Jace, David, Madisyn, Dalton, Gatlin, Lynnen, Elizabeth and Paige; three great great grandchildren Mattox, Layson Cade and Haughton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Driver, Glenn Guilliams, Peanut Copes, Charles Clack, Billy Burns and Keith Antley.
