DELHI — Funeral services were to be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of First National Funeral Home of Delhi for Robert C. "Coot" Jones, 82, of Delhi.

The Revs. Bobby Clanton and J. P. Harvey were to officiate, with burial in Providence Memorial Park here.

Mr. Jones died Sunday afternoon at his residence after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Clara Mae Jones of Delhi; six daughters, Mrs. Emma Dea Howington of Epps, Mrs. Myrtle Hines and Mrs. Juanita Zimmerman, both of New Orleans, Mrs. Edna Yeager of Monroe, Mrs. Nobie Yeager and Mrs. Marguerite Barrow, both of Delhi; three sons, Robert Jones of Vicksburg, Miss., Jim Jones and Ed Jones, both of Epps; 26 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were to be Jack Payne, James Payne, John Paul Wynn, Sherman McMillian, Willie Ray Nielsen and willie Nielsen.
