Belinda Faye Cavett, 62, of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, with family by her side.
She was born March 30, 1959, to Edgar Fain and Ollie Dannel Fain.
She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church for more than 40 years and loved reading her Bible and spending time with her family.
She worked at the YMCA for many years and most recently was a secretary for a local doctor's office.
Her hobbies included crafting, gardening, shopping, playing with her dogs (Fox and Heaven), and watching movies with her grandbabies. She had a huge heart and was always put everyone else first. She had a passion for teaching Sunday school for many years.
She met the love of her life, Terry Cavett, in 1978. She was a very proud wife, mother, grandmother of five grandchildren, and the matriarch of the family.
Everyone who met her was touched by her and loved her for her big heart and personality.
She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms. Belinda treated everyone like family. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Belinda was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Fain; sister, Sandra Dispain; brother, Ronnie Fain; mother-in-law, Bettye Cavett; and brother-in-law, Tony Cavett.
She is survived by her mother, Ollie Fain; husband, Terry Cavett; children: Angel Cavett (Shaun Moody) and Mandy Jackson (Nathan Jackson); grandchildren: Gabi Choate, Gracie Choate, Riley Jones, Pierse Jackson, and Pryce Jackson; sister, Pam Parker (Ray Parker); sister-in-law, Jena Cavett; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Visitation will be from 4 p to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service at 6 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Jimmy Caywood officiating.
