BURLINGTON — A n t h o ny
Seyller, 74, who resided south of
Burlington, died at Sycamore
Municipal Hospital last Friday.
He was born January 7, 1887,
in St. Charles, the son of Michael
and Catherine Hoffman Seyller.
His marriage to Anna Schlick
took place on June 27, 1912. She
passed away in November, 1950.
Mr. Seyller farmed in the Burlington
vicinity for the past 40
years. He was a member of the
St. Charles Borromeo Church of
Hampshire and of the Catholic
Order of Foresters.
He is survived by one daughter,
Mrs. Allen (Dorothy) Waiters
of Oak Park; four sons,
David of Elgin, James of New
Lebanan, and Robert and Richard
of Burlington; 17 grandchildren;
one great-grandchild; one
brother, Elvis Seyller of Burlington;
and three sisters, Mrs. Bernard
(Odelia ) Sester and Mrs.
Ray (Emma) Stout of Burlington
and Mrs. Edwin (Lena) Seyller
of Elgin.
In addition to his wife, he was
preceded in death by five brothers,
two sisters and a grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted
Monday at 10 a.m. from
$t. Charles Borromeo Church,
Hampshire, Rev. Father Clement
Petit officiating. Burial took place
in the church cemetery.
