Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Joseph Parley Allred, 90, died May 19, 1992, at his home.

Born December 14, 1901 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, to Horace Eugene Allred and Mary Elizabeth Mower. Member LDS Church. Married Venetta Elizabeth Howell, January 28, 1925; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. J.P. was farmer in Bluffdale, Utah since 1928.

Survived by his wife; children, Mrs. Lee (Donna) Eastman, Herriman; Ralph Lynn Allred an Jeannene, Clearfield; Mrs. Nile (Lyla Jean) Gough, Holladay; Gary Parley Allred and Judy, Kearns; Mrs. Charles (Karen) Francis, Holladay; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., Bluffdale 4th Ward, 14400 South 1700 West. Friends may call Friday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, and Saturday one hour prior at the church. Interment: Bluffdale Cemetery.
