February 06, 1932 - January 02, 2019
Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Lyla Jean Allred Gough, 86, passed away January 2, 2019. She was born February 6, 1932 to Joseph Parley & Venetta Howell Allred. Lyla is survived by her children Dolan Hudson, Dyke (Sydnie) Hudson, Dwane (Vicki) Hudson and Dawn (Boyd) Evans, 26 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and sister, Karen (Chuck) Francis. She is preceded in death by her husband Nile Gough, and by her siblings Lynn, Gary and Donna.
The loves of her life were her husband Nile Gough and Square Dancing. Nile and Mom spent 17 wonderful years together before his passing in 2002. They enjoyed dancing, traveling, working side by side in the yard, and just being together. They are now reunited. Our mother worked hard throughout her life. She grew up as a farmer’s daughter, worked at Makeoffs, OC Tanner and several other places. Her favorite jobs were driving a school bus, and later being an attendant aid on a bus with special needs children. As a grandmother she loved her grandchildren and they have fond memories of her. We were blessed to call her Mother, Grandmother and Friend. We say goodbye to an amazing woman!
