Horace Eugene Allred, 88, 270 E. 2nd South, died Thursday, 4:30 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes.
Born March 22, 1874, Chester, Sanpete County, to Joseph Parley and Mary L. Allred. Married Mary Elizabeth Mower Aug. 5, 1895, Fairview, Sanpete County. She died Feb. 8, 1917.
Member Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. Retired rancher, apartment-house owner.
Survivors: sons, daughters, Shirley, mrs. Arda E. Page. Dyke, Salt Lake City; Joseph P., Riverton; John Albert, Central Valley, Calif.; Armond Eugene, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Pearl Carnes, Albany, Calif.; Mrs. Veda Wright, Woodside, Calif.; Woodrow, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; 28 grandchildren; 30 great-grand-children; sister, Mrs. Ada Pone, Salmon, Idaho.
Funeral Saturday, 3:45 p.m. 260 E. South Temple, where friends call Friday 6-8 p.m. Saturday prior. Burial Murray City Cemetery.
