Funeral for Estelle Roberts, 81, of Danville will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Elder officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roberts died Thursday, May 17, 2001 at Parkway Medical Center. She was born February 14,1920 in Lawrence County to Claud McCormick and Elsie Moore McCormick. She was a retired garment worker and a member of Walden Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Allie Roberts; two daughters, Carolyn Lane of Danville and Patricia Hampton of Hartselle; one brother, Truitt McCormick of Falkville; two sisters, Gladys Christian of Danville and Hazel Parker of Hartselle; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim Doherty, Jimmy George, Joe Curtis, David Christian, Jerry Reynolds and Delane McCormick.
