Mr. McCormick died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 12, 1930, in Morgan County to Claude Edward McCormick and Elsie Naomi Moore McCormick. His sister, Estelle McCormick Roberts, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Cox McCormick; three sons, Waylon Delane McCormick and wife, Darlene, and James "Bo" McCormick and wife, Christy, all of Falkville, and Ronald "Bubba" McCormick of Hartselle; three daughters, Belinda McCormick Wray and husband, Rex, and Staci McCormick, all of Hartselle, and Karen McCormick Suggs and husband, Johnny, of Good Hope; two sisters, Gladys McCormick Christian of Neel and Hazel McCormick Parker of Hartselle; 13 grandchildren, Darcie Klocek and husband, Ty, Dena Thomason and husband, Jeremy, Danielle Teague and husband, Michael, Erik Wray, Shelley McCormick, Zaine Suggs, Jacob Wray, Crissy Suggs, Corey Suggs, Allen Suggs, Sawyer McCormick, Caitlin McCormick and Heather McCrary; and seven great-grandchildren.
