Charles M. Wingard of Marchand died Wednesday, March 12, 1963 in the Adrian Hospital, Punxsutawney.

He was born May 7, 1885, in Oliver Township, Jefferson County, a son of Henry G. and Rosa Noer Wingard, and was married to Minnie Moot. He had lived for the past 71 years in Marchand. He was a retired farmer and dairy man and at one time had been employed by the T.W. Phillips Gas and Oil Company.

Surviving are two children, Mrs. Elmer Miller of Jenkintown and Henry M. Wingard of Marchand; two sisters Miss Charlotte Wingard of Anaheim, Cal., and Mrs. W.C. Roderous of Cleveland, Ohio; and one brother, Frank Wingard of Murraysville, Cal.

Friends will be received at the Jordan Funeral Home, Punxsutawney after 7 p.m. today and until the hour of services Saturday, March 16, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Richard Shields, pastor of the Marchand EUB Church will officiate and interment will follow in the Mahoning Union Cemetery near Marchand.
