Mrs Plante was born Feb 8, 1908, in Hillsville, Pa., a daughter of James and Maude Brown Minteer, and was a reel maker at Kessler Products. She was a Protestant.

Besides her husband, John R., whom she married in 1953, she leaves two daughters, Mrs Elaine Hout of Bronson, Mich. and Mrs Irene Daugherty of New Castle; three sisters, Mrs Viola Brose of New Middletown, Mrs Sara Conti of Struthers and Mrs Florence Lysiskovic of Youngstown.
