Yvonne Truslow Toms, 61, of 73 Ashleigh Drive, Waynesboro, died Wednesday (March 29, 2000) at her residence.
She was born June 15, 1938, in Nelson County, daughter of the late William Rondue and Melinda Puckett Truslow.
Mrs. Toms was an active member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Winsome Sunday School Class and involved in other activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Tommy B. Toms on Nov. 17, 1994. Survivors include her daughter, Yvette Toms of Waynesboro; two brothers, Herbert Truslow of Nellysford and Buddy Truslow of Waynesboro; and three sisters, Annie Patrick of Lovingston, Alice Carter of Waynesboro and Mary Davis of Nellysford.
A service will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church by the Rev. William G. Wilson with burial following at Wintergreen Christian Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Herbert Truslow, Buddy Truslow, Ronnie Patrick, Wayne Carter, James Wright and James Gunn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Davis, Pat Hunter, Gordon Hunter, Irvine Carter, James Muro, Lyle Hunter, Vance Brydge and Gerald Sholes.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro.Contributions may be made to the Waynesboro First Aid Crew, P.O. Box 1427, Waynesboro, Va. 22980.

Yvonne Matilda Truslow was the wife of Tommy Burnett Toms and the daughter of Wilmont Rondue Truslow and Malinda Myrtle Puckett Truslow.
