Services for Roddie Frank Beard, 80, were held at the Loving Methodist Church officiated by John Shuler of Dallas and Luther Hill of Rockwall. Mr. Beard was a member of the Rockwall First Methodist Church and life member of the Loving Masonic Lodge

He was employed by the John E. Morrison Company in Loving and later became manager of the John E. Morrison Company in Newcastle and Olney, Texas. He was the choir director for the Loving Methodist Church for many years.

Frank Beard moved to Rockwall, Texas in 1951 from Newcastle, Texas.

Survived by is wife; one daughter - Mrs. Lloyd "Catherine" Daniels; two sons - F Wendell Beard and Raymond W Beard; five grandcchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers - Glen Beard and Grady Beard; two sisters - Mrs. W.W. Prather and Mrs. Annie Rhea.
