Services for Mrs. Roy Wheat were held in the First Methodist Church ni Garland. Mrs. Wheat moved to Graham with her parents in early youth. She and her husband moved to Garland in 1943. Survived by her husband; two sons - Dale and Bobby Wheat; two daughters - Evelyn Barnett, Mrs. Homer Johnson; four brothers - Frank Beard, Joe Beard, Grady Beard, Glenn Beard; two sisters - Mrs. W.W. Prather, Mrs. Annie Rhea; eight grandchildren.
