She was president of the Church Quilting Club, member of the Loyal Workers Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Mary and Martha Bible class as well as the Anson Woman's Club. Survived by three sons - George D., Sidney G.,Jr, and Howard Jack Castles; two daughters - Mrs. C.C. Childs, Mrs. Frank Wormood; eight grandchildren; one sister - Mrs. Lalla Bailey. The family lived at 1232 18th Street in Anson.
