Services for Sid G. Castles were held in the First Methodist Church. Mr. Castles moved to Anson with his parents in 1885. He married Bess Davis in 1906. Mr. Castles was a member of the Board of Stewards at the First Methodist Church for a number of years. He was a pioneer realtor. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Survived by his wife; two daughters - Mrs. C.C. Childs and Mrs. Frank Wormood; three sons - George D., Sid G., Jr., and I. Jack Castle; six grandchildren; one sister - Jacqueline Castles.
