Alois Binder, 89, retired grain and dairy farmer, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997. Vigil service 7:30 p.m. today, Hays Memorial Chapel; service 10 a.m. Friday, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors: wife, Bertha; son, Bob of Hays; daughter, Elma Jane Wuertz of Hays; brothers, Adolph, Paul, both of Hays, Julius of Madras, Ore.; sisters, Helen Gross of Munjor, Bertha Drees of Hoisington, Mary Lafferty of San Diego; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

Memorial has been established with Rush County Nursing Home, LaCrosse and the Masses.
