Patricia Trish Dow McCue, 57, passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2005 after a three-year courageous battle against breast cancer.

Trish grew up on a potato farm in Fort Fairfield where she developed a strong work ethic, commitment to family, and an incredible sense of humor. She graduated from Fort Fairfield High School in 1966, briefly attended a Medical Technology program at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor before completing one year of college at the University of Maine in Orono.

Throughout her life, Trish was the pillar of her large family and she generously opened her home for family celebrations. Trish loved to play the piano and sing. She was a long-term member of a women's bridge group (21 years), and an avid tennis player for many years. She was also a fan of New England sports teams. Trish was a master Scrabble player and loved to play for hours on end.

Trish held her real estate broker's license for 22 years. She most recently worked for Agency 1 in Scarborough where she was consistently a multi-million dollar producer. She will be sadly missed by her long-term business partner and friend, Paul Haase.

Trish enjoyed working for H&R Block during the tax season. She also volunteered for the Family Crisis Shelter Hotline.

Trish is survived by her husband of 18 years, Gordon McCue of Scarborough; four children, Tracy Savoy of Albany, N.Y., Tiffany Mullen and her husband Tad of Cape Elizabeth, and twins Serena Dow and Douglas Dow of Scarborough; two step-sons, Sean McCue and his wife Karen of South Portland, and Colin McCue of Ashville, N.C. Trish loved her grandchildren, Drew and Ryan Savoy of Waterford, N.Y., and Christopher Foley of South Portland. Also surviving are her siblings, Carleen Coffin of Hampden, Jacqueline Anderson and her husband Robert of Webster, N.Y., Mary Levasseur of Newbury, Mass., Christina Fuller of Worcester, Mass., Susan Oldenburg and her husband, Tim of Fort Fairfield, Kathy Towle of Fort Fairfield, and Everett Towle Jr. and his wife Linda of Othello, Wash.; a step-mother, Mavis Towle of Fort Fairfield; two aunts, Clara Hussey of Mars Hill, and Charlotte Porter of Cape Elizabeth; 18 nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and a multitude of cousins.

Trish was predeceased by her mother, Molly Thompson Towle in 1960; her father Everett Towle in 1990; a sister, Nancy Towle Haines in 1979; and a brother- in-law Terrence Coffin in 2005.

Trish will be remembered for her honesty, intelligence and amazing sense of humor. She had an amazing willingness to listen and help her family and friends, whom she loved with all of her heart. The doors to her home and to her heart were always open.
