Mrs. Etolia Shaw Herring, 86, of Madison, formerly of Winona, died of heart failure at her residence Sunday, June 23, 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Church of Christ in Winona.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. June 25 at Oliver Chapel with Bro. Dan Beardain officiating. Burial was in the Winona Gardens of Memory.
Mrs. Herring is survived by her husband, J.W. Herring of Madison; one son, Joe Wayne Herring of Gluckstadt; two sisters, Christine Lollar of Weir, Maxine Strickler of Nashville; brother, Paul Shaw of Louisville, Miss.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Phillip Evans, Dwight Lollar, Bill Surrell, John Pace, Bo Surrell, and Bobby Greenlee.
Oliver Funeral Home in Winona was in charge of arrangements.
