Mrs. Shaw Services Held At Huntsville

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Shaw of Weir were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Huntsville Church of Christ. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Shaw, 85, died Tuesday at the Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville.

She was a native of Choctaw County and a member of the Huntsville Church of Christ. She leaves a son, Paul Shaw of Weir; four daughters, Mrs. Etolia Herring of Winona, Mrs. Christine Lollar of Weir, Mrs. Juanita Bailey of Ardmore, Tenn., Mrs. Maxine Stricklen of Nashville. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Maybelle Dendy of Cleveland and a brother, Waco Dendy of Kosciusko; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Dan Beardain was the officiating minister.

Serving as pallbearers were Dwight Lollar, Jo Wayne Herring, Kenny Stricklen, Jerry Stricklen, Jerry Futch and David Bearden.

Nowell Funeral Home of Weir was in charge of arrangements.
