John Frank Shaw
Last rites for John Frank Shaw who passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. W. Herring, on March 4th were held Monday afternoon at Huntsville Church of Christ with Minister Emmerson J. Estes of Memphis and Minister C. B. Gunter of Kosciusko officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Lee Funeral Hums.
Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Dendy, Wallace Dendy, Cecil Dendy, Harold McCarley, R. C. Sinquefield and Lee Strickler.
Mr. Shaw was born in Choctaw county July 4, 1884, and on March 6, 1908 was married to the former Miss Frankie Dendy who survives. He was an elder in the Huntsville Church of Christ.
Besides his wife he leaves four daughters, Mrs. J. W. Herring, Winona, Mrs. Paul Bailey, New Orleans, Mrs. T. N. Lollar, Weir, Mrs. Lee Strickler, New Orleans; a son, Paul D. Shaw, Winona; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Green, Ackerman, Mrs. Ellen Dendy Fairmont, West Virginia, and Mrs. Kate Cobb, West Palm Beach, Florida.
