Lucy Coleman
RACCOON, Ky. — Lucy Coleman, 90, of Lower Pompey and formerly of Raccoon, died at Thursday at the home of her daugher, Sylvia Thacker of Lower Pompey.
Bom June 6, 1895 in Pike County, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Darkus Thacker Coleman.
Her husband, Riley B. Coleman preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Alva, Alvin and Allen Coleman, all of Raccoon; four daughters, Sarah Coleman of McArthur, Ohio, Sylvia Thacker of Lower Pompey, Frona and Flossie Coleman both of Raccoon; 46 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Primitive Baptist Church at Raccoon with Regular
Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman Cemetery at Raccoon.
Services will be held at the church at 7 tonight with Regular Baptist Ministers officiating and Saturday night with Primitive Baptist Ministers officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Johns Creek Funeral Home of Meta.
