Luther Alvis Coleman was the son of Riley B. and Lucy Pearl Coleman. On December 24, 1938 he married Eathel Worrix (daughter of Alex and Dorthula Worrix). Luther and Eathel were the parents of seven children (Hassie, Alex, Linda, Judy, Harold, Patricia, and Arthur).
Luther was a most talented man. Although he used mining for his everyday living, he was also a carpenter and local business owner. His life was cut short due to a mining accident, but his legacy to his family lives on.
