THROCKMORTON, Texas - William Eugene 'Bill' Hitchcock, 56, died Saturday, July 11, 1998, in his Throckmorton home.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Throckmorton Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Davis, of Snyder, Texas, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Merriman-Archer Funeral Home.
Mr. Hitchcock was born Oct. 22, 1941, in Mertzon, Texas. He served in the Armed Forces during the Vietnam War era. He was a retired backhoe operator. He moved to Throckmorton from Snyder in 1995.
Survivors include a son, Billy Kyle of Burleson, Texas; two daughters, Kelli Thompson of Throckmorton and Tobie Clark of Breckenridge, Texas; his mother, Verdie Powell of Graham, Texas; four sisters, Ada Smith and Doris Mitchell both of Woodson, Texas, Ruthie MacArther of Graham, and Martha Henry of Coahoma, Texas; a brother, Leroy of Coahoma; and four grandchildren.
