William Smith, a brother of the late Alva Smith, died at Oak Hill Wednesday night of last week, after a long illness.
Mr. Smith was a son of the late George Smith and was well known here, having spent his entire life in this vicinity. He was honest and industrious, and his services were always in demand as he was a good workman.
The funeral service was held Friday afternoon at the M.E. church in Brimfield conducted by Dr. A.M. Stocking and he was laid to rest in the family lot in Brimfield Cemetery.
