On November 29, 2020, Mary Fabiola Martinez, loving wife and mother of six children, went to be with our Lord at the age of 92.
Mary was born on March 24, 1928 and was a devoted Catholic and member of the Blue Army prayer group. Mary prayed the rosary for her children every day.
On July 12, 1947 she married the love of her life Henry "Hank" Martínez. Together they raised their six children, Robert, Rosella, David, Christina, Ronald and Peter.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Jesús Griego, mother, Eloisa Griego, husband, Henry, son, Ronald (Loretta) and son-in-law, Luther.
Mary is survived by her sons, Robert (Yolanda), David (Margarita) and Pete (Haydee), her daughters, Rosella and Christina (Leon), her grandchildren, Brenda, Bridgette, Robert Jr., Christopher, Tammy, Jennifer, David Jr., Angela, Daniel, Gabriel, Roman, Lisa, Rosemary and Michelle, special person, Ruth, her sisters, Sylvia and Mabel, her sisters-in-law, Gina, Lina and Angie, her good friend, Josie, her 21 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nana will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Mary will be watching over her family from heaven now.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
