Frederick Lee Shively, age 75, of Perry Township passed away on December 18, 2020. Born in Canton on November 12, 1945 to the late Frederick and Olive Shively, he was a 1963 graduate of Glenwood High School. He was also a graduate of Malone College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English while managing the college bookstore. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He managed retail bookstores before transitioning to grocery store management for the remainder of his career. In his retirement years, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen (Nesbitt) Shively, to whom he was deeply devoted throughout their thirty-year marriage. He is also predeceased by his three siblings, Gary Shively, Ramona Shively and Eric Shively.

A private funeral service for the family will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Micah Holland officiating.
