Vay Collison went home to Jesus at 1:25 a.m. on September 7th. With her family at her bedside, she passed in a deep sleep.

To all who knew Vay, a loving wife of 59 years, mother, grandmother, relative, or friend, we will all truly feel the loss of a loved one. She was a lady who loved Jesus, her family and friends, and was always ready to help them. Whether in on of her two restaurants (C.V. Diner or Joe's Turkey Diner), or a knock on her door, the person left after eating a hot meal and knowing true love and a new friend in their hearts.

Graveyard services will be held at the Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Wash., at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10th. The Slumber Room at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd., will be open for viewing at 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. Friday.

The family suggests that memorial gifts be given to the Cancer Associations or Diabetes Foundation.
