Born in Spokane, Mr. Collison died Saturday.
He had owned Joe's Turkey Diner and C.V. Diner, both in the Spokane Valley. He later worked in heavy construction and as a warehouse manager.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Valley Elks.
His wife, Vay Collison, died in 1994.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Collison of Rockford, Richard Collison of Spokane and Robert Collison of Portland; a daughter, Joan Erickson of Spokane; 24 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
