It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Sorg (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Urban Sorg and Loretta Sorg (Till); and his siblings, Joseph Henry Sorg, Dale Sorg, Carl Sorg, Robert Sorg, Luella Miller, Viola Beard and Marie Speith.
He is survived by : his wife Phyllis A. Sorg (Christman) of Fort Wayne; his children, Donna Engle (Davy) of Fort Wayne, Debra Gordon (Wayne) of Fort Wayne, David Sorg of Fort Wayne, Joseph Sorg (Karen) of Southern Indiana, Gregory Sorg (Patti) of Southern Indiana and Jeff Sorg (Barb) of Fort Wayne; and his sister Clara Miller. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24th 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the D. O. McComb Foster Park Funeral Home (6301 Fairfield Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46807). A mass of christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 25th 2020 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church (11337 Old Decatur Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46816). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 25th 2020 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
