Marie Flora Speith, 86, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Kingston Residence in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Urban and Loretta Sorg. Marie had worked at Wayne Candies, Fort Wayne Wire and Die, Kmart, and Z-brick / ChemRex for several years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hessen Cassel. Surviving are her children Linda Marie Speith, Michael Joseph (Sandra) Speith both of Fort Wayne, IN; Andrew Mark (Tammy) Speith of Monroeville, IN; grandchildren, Kimberly (Scott) Dye, Stacey (Ricky) Shaffer, Tiffany Speith, Jacob Speith, Emily Speith, great-grandchildren, Andi, Mati, Kadi Dye, Marilyn Shaffer, brother, Henry (Phyllis) Sorg sister, Clara (Thomas) Miller brother, Robert (Irene) Sorg and sister-in-law, Rosie Sorg . Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John Francis Speith, Jr. great-granddaughter , Tatiana Speith-Fish, sisters, Loretta Till, Viola Beard, Luella Miller, brothers, Dale, Carl and Joseph Sorg, Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, January 11, 2018, 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Hessen Cassel, with calling one hour prior.
