CARL A. "DUGAN" SORG, 65, of rural Fort Wayne died Sunday in Lutheran Hospital. The Hessen Cassel native retired this year from Mullinex Packages Inc. after eight years, was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 241.
Surviving are his wife, Rosaline M.; daughters, Rebecca Glick of Bloomington, Minn., and Karen Smith and Peggy Lucas, both of Fort Wayne; sons, Daniel, Steven, Roger, Nicholas and Andrew, all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Viola Beard, Clara Miller, Marie Speith and Luella Miller, all of Fort Wayne; brothers, Henry and Robert, both of Fort Wayne; and 23 grandchildren.
Services are 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, and 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Therese Catholic Church. Calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home, with a vigil at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Preferred memorials are gifts to Masses or the church.
