Harry Albert, 22 Adams St., died Sunday at 10:10 a.m. in Valley Crest He was born in Miners Mills, where he-lived most of his life. For 30 years he lived in Shavertown, returning eight years ago to reside with a sister, Mrs. Martha McCutcheon. Employed in the mining industry most of his life, he was a laborer at Pine Ridge Colliery 19 years before it closed in 1956. In his youth, Mr. Albert had been an outstanding baseball player in the Young Men's Institute League and played on the All Star team. He also received several offers to play in major league baseball. He was a member of Shavertown United Methodist Church. His sister; Mrs. McCutcheon, survives. Funeral will be from H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home, 451 1 N. Main St; Wednesday at 11 with Rev. Robert DeWitt Yost officiating. Interment, Mt Greenwood Cemetery, Trucksville. Friends may call Tuesday 2 to, 4 and 7 to 9.
