John Albert, who resided at the home of his sister, Mr. Martha McCutcheon, 22 Adam Street, Miners Mills section. died at General Hospital yesterday morning at 5:33 following a brief illness. Born tn Hudson. Plains Township, Mr. Albert was a son of the late Henry and Martha Jones Albert. Mr. Albert resided In Miners Mills section most of his life. Prior to retiring in 1947, he was employed at Dorrance Colliery, Lehigh Valley Industries. He we a member cf Miner Congregational Church, Wilkes-Barre. He was also a member, of Miners Mills Civic League. . . Also surviving are brothers, David. West Pittston, William, Wilkes Barre; Harry of Shavertown; a sister. Mrs. Ester Endres, Wikes-Barre; nieces and nephews, including Mr. Edna Ennis, Wilkes-Barre, and George MrCutcheon, Dallas. A brother, James, died February 12, 1957. Funeral will be held from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 with Rev. Dr. Roy Beane officiating. Burial in Pittston Cemetery. friend may call after noon today. Arrangement by H. Merritt Hughes.
